Great little library, lots of books to choose from, great for kids books. I like the automated service for renting and dropping off books. It would be helpful if there was a text reminder to get books returned. I have had some books for ages and forgot to take back resulting in a small charge. I suppose I should set my own reminders! Very clean and tidy, well managed and great staff! Highly recommended! I used the library very often!
This missive is written whilst sitting i Didcot library using a 4 G connection via my mobile phone, the reason I have to do this is that the WiFi in this library is virtually non existent.. One has to wonder at the audacity of these people who actually advertise that a WIFI is available, it works to an extent that you find yourself fighting for an hour in order to get the connection to hold in without you having to log back in every 30 seconds on times. I suggest that someone either pays 30 quid to obtain a decent router or alternatively throw the advertising board away and dispense with the system altogether. This problem coupled with the screaming kids running around makes visiting this place totally unpleasant. Perhaps another idea is to turn the place into a children's play ground they have a good start as they have a wooden train already.. The mind boggles .
Very helpfully , you can use a PC with printer , color also, cheap, also they have internet, is free to use the PC
Friendly library but feels very dated. Could do with being refreshed.
