A cosy low-beamed gastro pub in a rural and pleasant location. Only one beer on tap (which had run out on our visit) which was a touch disappointing, but an extensive food menu including a vast collection of varied specials. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Lovely and friendly place. Very tranquil and great to walk the dogs. Staff were really friendly and allowed dogs to stay which was perfect for us on this trip. We wish we had stayed at the pub for dinner on the Friday night as it was steak night but we already had plans. The food smelt fabulous. The rooms were cosy and very clean. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and the breakfast was fantastic! Great value for money! Will definitely return!
A little off the beaten track, but very much worth a visit! I recently went here for lunch with a colleague. The standard menu is good, but we both chose an item off the specials board. I think it was braised pork cheek. It was very tasty and the service was warm and friendly. I will be going back soon.
