Went to see Father Christmas and Thomas The Tank Engine. We had a fantastic time with our little boy who is train mad. Loads to see and do xxx
The kind of place that really feels like it could do with a bit of funding as it's feeling run down, it was a cold day we visited even so a few of the staff could have tried a little harder with being friendly. Ticket prices seem to go up when you opt to include gift aid which was new to us. Other than that it's an interesting place, plenty of space and kids had fun.
Great place to visit . Full of Huge Steam engines and loads of other railway stuff. Good cafe. nice people even my wife said she had a good time.
Excellent venue for children and train enthusiasts. Our little one particularly loved seeing Thomas the tank engine full size, and the large amount of space to run around in. (he's almost 3). Basic but friendly restaurant. Basic but serviceable toilet facilities. Accessibility for the disabled poor - they know this and acknowledge it, but it will be a hard problem to solve. Best way to get there we found was travel to Didcot train station on a train, and not bother with trying to find parking in Didcot.
Lovely place to see steam trains working. My 4 and 6 year old loved it and even got to stand at the front of a train while moving, which they thought they were driving with the driver! Father Christmas visit was good, if brief.but they loved going on Thomas the tank engine. Staff were all lovely, my boys loved the new signal exhibition!
