Popular dog walking wood. Main path rtends to be a bit muddy, but off road is fine. Nice stone circle feature in thd middle. Easy access to the old railway line walk to upton.

Not very well signposted but a beautiful little nature reserve. Admittedly I dont know the ins and outs of what is necessary to keep the place nice but the upkeep of it seems to be in fits and spurts , we dont mind though - we like the wild !
