Took longer getting in and out of the car park than i spent in the shops.
Almost impossible to park at weekends. Decent selection of shops and eateries. Parking abysmal. It needs a large multi-storey car park to ease the existing problems.
Parked for 30 mins ,I thought it was free parking for the shops,did not notice signs or payments machine.Went into Sainsburys,got a fine of 80 in the post.I am a stranger to the area,but normally if I go to Sainsburys its free.I am going back from Wiltshire to check before I pay.NOT A WAY TO HELP THE SHOPS TO KEEP CUSTOMERS
Quite simple really, read the signs! I agree that this car park is not ideal. If you need to go back within 3 hours, dont! 2 hours free then pretty cheap up to 4 hours max. That is the kicker! If you go to the cinema then decide to have a meal then do some shopping then expect a fine. The customer service team over the phone are very rude and simply dont care that you went in, didnt stop and left, then go back shortly after to park! I have been fined twice so far. I certainly know the rules now. 4 hour max is not enough though, considering they have just expanded massively you would think they would up the max parking time. I always read the small print wherever I park. Got to hand it to them though, as a business they must be raking it in! Such as life!
Parked in here today, have been here before. I went to watch a film at the cinema, when I came back I was not able to pay to park as I've been parked for more than 4 hours. The only place this tells you is in at the bottom of the sign when you pay, I was not aware of this because like most people you don't read all of the sign only what it costs to park. When I phoned the number for the company, all he said was there was nothing he could do and I will most likely get a fine. I think that the max stay should be highlighted before you enter the car park.
